Devoted and shining
Free and sad flight of
the blue bird
in an immense world and
in the grayish sky.
Happy – when imprisoned
in golden cage.
But a kind man
opened its door…
How doubtful
about his kindness!
Curiously, this bird
came cross
new horizons…
Then, away, it flew!
Storms! …
Attacks by other birds
and even by that one man
did he suffer.
But he boldly managed the chaos of fatality…
and long after having known
sweet liberty,
it found the real paradise.
However,
in another world…
For its flight went
beyond itself;
devoted and shining.
